There are days when we don't want to cook, but at the same time want to eat the yummy " ghar ka khana", well at that time kadhi chawal is the only savior, because this recipe can be cooked in less than one hour. So here are the easy steps and ingredients to make kadhi chawal.

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 and 1/2 bowl of besan
- 2 bowl of curd
- 2 large sized onion
- 1 inch of ginger
- 3-5 green chilies
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 4-5 curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon of Haldi Powder
- 1 teaspoon of Red Chili Powder
- Salt to taste
STEP 1:
Take a bowl pour half of the besan into it. Chop 1/2 onion into thin slices and add into the bowl of besan. Add 1/2 teaspoon of haldi powder, red chili powder and salt to taste. Then with the help of water mix it properly. Then heat a kadhai, and add generous amount of oil to it. Once the oil is hot, pour in the besan batter by making small balls out of it. Fry them till its rawness goes away. Put aside the besan fitters on a plate and let it cool.
STEP 2:
In the next step take 1 bowl of besan and pour in 2 bowl of curd into it. Mix them well so that there will be no lumps in it. Then slice the onion, ginger and green chilies into thin pieces. Then heat a kadhai, add 2 tablespoon of oil in it, and once oil is hot add the mustard seeds to it.
STEP 3:
When the mustard seeds starts to crackle add the curry leaves, sliced onion, ginger and green chilies to it and fry it till the onion becomes soft. After that add the mixture of besan and curd to it. Add a pinch of haldi powder and red chili powder to it. Cook it till it starts boiling.
STEP 4:
When the kadhi starts to boil add the besan fitters in it, and cook it for 5 to 10 minutes. Switch off the gas. Kadhi is ready and have it with steaming hot rice.
